An exciting temp-to-hire Baler/Forklift Operator role has opened up at a leading manufacturer. This company provides competitive wages, expansive benefits and opportunity for promotion and growth.
As a Baler/Forklift Operator you’ll use a forklift to handle paper scrap in the recycling department, including retrieving, shredding, weighing, and loading it into trailers for pickup. Strong forklift skills and attention to detail are needed for running the recycling department efficiently.
Pay: $21.00 per hour | Swing shift
Baler/Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Use a forklift to get bins of paper scrap.
- Put paper scrap into the big shredding machine.
- Weigh and load paper bales onto trailers for pickup.
- Follow safety rules.
Baler/Forklift Operator Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift is a must.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet production goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy bins of paper scrap.
- Availability for a two-week training period on day shift
Schedule – Monday – Friday
- Swing shift 2:00pm-10:00pm
Note: Training for this position takes Three weeks on the day shift. 6am – 2:30pm
