Location: Outskirts of Biggleswade
Job Type: Monday to Friday, 12pm to 4pm
Salary: £11.44 per hourStart Date: Immediate Start Until end of November (potential for longer)We are hiring on behalf of our client, a vibrant café within an educational setting. If you are passionate about coffee, delivering excellent customer service, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!As this role is based within an educational institution, an Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to starting.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other refreshments.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment to create high-quality drinks with consistency.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Ensure the café and seating areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
• Work as part of a team to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista in a similar customer service role.
• A passion for coffee and delivering excellent service.
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well within a team.
• Current and in date Enhanced DBS is required (or willing to obtain if you do not currently have one).

Expected salary

£44 – 11.44 per hour
