Bench Tech Job Duties:
- Checks tools and equipment.
- Repair and Service Company Equipment and Customer owned DVT, TSS, and Diagnostics products to include but not limited to pneumatic, Mattress pumps, ultrasound, and Doppler devices:
o Diagnosis of issues & failed components
o Replacement of required components for the repair being performed
o Performs quality control checks and inspections on all products according to company policies and procedures
- Customer Interaction may be required for customer-owned products or customers-using products:
o If the product is returned for repair, advise customers of problems found with the product, and the approximate cost and turn-around time for completion.
o Assist customers over the telephone regarding the proper methods of operation or troubleshooting for products purchased as required.
- Maintain proper documentation for work completed including accurately documented physical and electronic service records as required by facility procedures.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices where applicable.
- Replenish Kanban as required.
- Inventory counting or movement as required.
- Maintains a clean and orderly workstation.
- Must demonstrate mastery of DVT & TSS products.
- Monitors the condition of all tools and notifies management of any maintenance needs.
- Notifies management of any service and repair difficulties or other applicable information.
- Assist with the receiving, packing, and shipping of products and parts.
- Ensure all documentation is complete and filed appropriately
- Adheres to Company safety regulations.
- Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as deemed suitable and assigned by management.

Bench Tech Job Requirements:
- High School Degree
- 5 years’ Experience in a similar mechanical or electrical assembly position
- Must be able to decipher data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technical manuals, and written Correspondence
- Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications specifically Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to respond to inquiries and communicate with others in writing and via telephone.
- Has consistently demonstrated superior skills in the performance of all duties
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (including biological/chemical protection) when potential hazards exist.
- Major tasks require the use of hands, legs, and feet.
- Must be able to lift/carry 45lbs individually and team lift heavier items.
- Must be able to push up to 625 lbs. on wheels
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Schedule:
Mon. – Thurs. 6:30a – 4p (Weekends when needed)
Friday: 6:30a – 12p
Pay: $18 – 20/hr
