Job Description:Are you a graduate looking to develop your career in the fast paced and dynamic Hire industry, or an experienced Bid co-ordinator looking for a new challenge?Then this new role as a Bid and Proposal Co-ordinator could be for you! Working for a well-known hire business with great eco credentials, the role of the Bid and Proposal Co-ordinator is to assist the sales and commercial teams pursue new business opportunities by co-ordinating responses to Supplier Questionnaires, pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ) and final tender proposal documentation submission. The role involves providing support to all stakeholder functions to assist the quality and timely completion of proposal submissions – including organising meetings, structuring and writing proposal content, co-ordinating relevant activities and document management.You will be involved across the entire sales life cycle; from opportunity tracking/pipeline, customer engagement, capture planning, competitive tendering, presentations, negotiations, contract award, implementation and delivery.Candidates must have
Experience of working in a fast past sales environment and previous experience of working in welfare & accommodation or Plant & Tool Hire industry would be desirable, but not essential.The position is office based in Bury, with hybrid working available following completion of a probationary period (3 days per week in the office). As this is a customer focused role, a degree of travel will be part of your remit as this role will involve external meetings with customers, suppliers and our depot network.
