Do you have proven billing experience in a professional services or legal environment?We’re seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our client’s accounting legal team in Downtown Montreal.What is offered to you:– Salary up to $60K (based on experience)

– Access to financial plannerBy joining this team as a Billing Clerk, you’ll have the opportunity to:– Reception, validation, and entry of lawyer invoices into the system.
– Verification, review, and follow-up of client invoices to ensure accuracy of billed amounts, fees, and expenses.
– Resolution of billing issues in collaboration with lawyers and administrative staff to ensure client satisfaction.
– Modification of time entries, including transfers, date adjustments, time allocation, and project grouping.
– Client account management in collaboration with lawyers, including report generation.
– Creation of user profiles and management of standard rate entries in the system.
– Report generation using Maître.
– Other related tasks, including providing support to the accounting team.We’re looking for someone with:– College diploma or equivalent in business administration or accounting.
– Previous billing experience, preferably in a legal firm or professional services environment.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in using different billing platforms and or Maitre
– Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Other Language Requirements: English
– Level of Proficiency Required: Advanced
– Reasons for Language Requirement: To communicate and support customers in other regions outside of Quebec
