Grandview Golf Club is Hiring for the 2025 season! We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on customer service and team management. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and providing exceptional service to our guests in a hospitality setting. JOB REQUIREMENTS Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient operation. Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Comply with all operations manuals, opening and closing procedures, daily worksheets, restaurant procedures, cleaning schedules, and all other duties required to successfully execute daily routines in an efficient restaurant. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience. Communicate professionally and directly with the Food and Beverage Manager, Executive Chef and the food and beverage team on all food service issues. Conduct interviews for new hires within the department as needed. Aid and support the leadership of the Bistro Manager. QUALIFICATIONS Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or management role within hotels or restaurants. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and hospitality best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Excellent listening skills and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally. Experience in bartending is a plus; knowledge of beverage service is essential. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A passion for the hospitality industry with a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. Certified in Smart Serve. This is a seasonal position running from April until October with the opportunity to return to your position every season.
