We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. The role involves maintaining financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. As a Bookkeeper, you will be the sole person in accounting for the organization, responsible for managing all bookkeeping activities such as running payroll, reconciling bank statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization.
• Maintain and record financial transactions on a regular basis.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain important financial reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
• Oversee payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Reconcile bank statements regularly.
• Utilize accounting software packages such as Quickbooks efficiently.
• Handle monthly end work and account reconciliation.
• Manage two sets of books, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions and processes.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Skills in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations
• Extensive knowledge in Bookkeeping
• Experience in Data Entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures
• Experience in processing Payroll
• Proficiency in QuickBooks software
