Position Summary:

The Breakout production
employee removes bagging materials and plaster from composite parts.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Using an impact
    hammer and other hand tools removes plaster from inside of composite
    parts.
  • Removes bagging
    materials from cured composite parts.
  • Performs surface
    preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck
    particles.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and
    understand detailed instruction.
  • Intermediate to
    advanced math skills.
  • Capability to use
    hand and power tools applicable to trade.
  • Excellent
    interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
  • Able to identify
    defective materials and parts.
  • Understanding of
    technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.?

 Pay: $20.30 – $24.00

Available Schedule:

  • Weekend Shift; Friday-Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm

Aerospace Manufacturing Associate Job Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of recent work experience in a production or manufacturing job
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, and walk throughout shift
  • Able to wear provided safety gear
  • Able to use diagrams and verbal and written instructions to perform tasks
  • Ability to read instructions and follow demonstrated steps
  • Experience using small hand tools is a plus
