Position Summary:
The Breakout production
employee removes bagging materials and plaster from composite parts.
Responsibilities include:
- Using an impact
hammer and other hand tools removes plaster from inside of composite
parts. - Removes bagging
materials from cured composite parts. - Performs surface
preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck
particles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to read and
understand detailed instruction. - Intermediate to
advanced math skills. - Capability to use
hand and power tools applicable to trade. - Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written. - Able to identify
defective materials and parts. - Understanding of
technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.?
Pay: $20.30 – $24.00
Available Schedule:
- Weekend Shift; Friday-Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm
Aerospace Manufacturing Associate Job Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent work experience in a production or manufacturing job
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, and walk throughout shift
- Able to wear provided safety gear
- Able to use diagrams and verbal and written instructions to perform tasks
- Ability to read instructions and follow demonstrated steps
- Experience using small hand tools is a plus
