Posting Description:Account Manager (Technician)We’re hiring!Aon is currently recruiting an Account Manager (broker back up technician) to join our Credit Reinsurance Solutions technical support team in London.The role necessitates working closely with colleagues in the broking team, the Account Manager will be primarily responsible for the technical and administrative support for the Credit broking team in the placing and servicing of treaty reinsurance placements.This hybrid role based in our London office, offering the flexibility to work in the office and virtually at home.Aon is in the business of better decisions.At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeAs an Account Manager working in our your key responsibilities will initially include:

• Working in partnership with the broking team in the marketing of treaty reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, colleagues from regional Aon offices and reinsurers.
• The production of contractual documentation including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover.
• The collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of client and market submissions and presentations.
• The resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers, involving liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.
• The population and maintenance of data within Aon’s IT systems.
• Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any group company.

The role will develop with experience and the following responsibilities will be added:

• Negotiating on the content of contracts with clients and reinsurers throughout the placement process.
• Liaising with brokers, account executives, account managers, analytics teams, clients and reinsurers regarding submission information, portfolio developments and the resulting impact on reinsurance throughout the renewal process.
• The review of contractual documentation including contract wordings, endorsements and evidence of cover, ensuring that they satisfy requirements for all contracting parties.
• Supporting brokers by ensuring the efficient delivery of all Aon products and tools.
• The production of client and market submissions from raw data, for both individual exhibits and complete information packs.

• To be educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
• Good interpersonal skills including effective communication and presentation skills.

• To demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
• A competency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
