Join us and design your place with Stantec.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAssist writing proposals and establishing financial budgets;Assist with project document reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.);Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions;Assist with review and report on project mock-ups;Assist with performance of periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items;Assist with performance of field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.);Assist in small project management and coordination;Participate in continuing education;Periodic out-of-state travel;Perform various office-related tasks.QualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsGeneral knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus;Experience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plus;Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects;Ability to work in a team environment;Strong customer service commitment;Excellent communication and documentation skills;Professional attitude;Commitment to succeed;Persistence;Strong work ethic;Valid Driver’s license and access to a vehicle”.Education and ExperienceDegree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field;Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plusTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
