Our focus on our people, culture and capabilities allows us to make a difference for our clients and the communities we serve.Your Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares proposals and establish project financial budgetsPerforms project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussionsReviews and reports on project mock-upsPerforms periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action itemsPerforms field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)Manages and coordinates small and large projectsConducts business development to secure revenue-generating projectsClient managementMentors junior staffParticipates in continuing educationPerforms various office related tasksQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsOrganizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projectsProject management experienceAbility to work in a team environmentStrong customer service commitmentExcellent communication and documentation skillsProfessional attitudeCommitment to succeedPursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer is a plusEducation and ExperienceDegree in EngineeringMinimum of 4 years’ experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systemsThis description is not a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that may be required of the employee and other duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or may be changed at any time with or without notice.Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other’s talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
