Join us as a Building Surveyor at Thirteen Group!Role Overview:Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Building Surveyor to join our Major Structural Defects team at our head office in Middlesbrough. The role covers a variety of surveying tasks and no two days are the same – you’ll be working as part of the Major Structural Defects (MSD) team covering both structural and fire damage works, as well as supporting on damp and mould.Thirteen Benefits:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to deliver a customer focused and right first time surveying service
• Lead on insurance work in relation to fire and structurally damaged properties
• Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work
• Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds

About You:

• Building Surveying degree or able to demonstrate significant experience
• Up to date knowledge of CDM regulations, and experience of putting that knowledge into practice
• Excellent customer service skills and able to work as part of a team
• Experience of undertaking a range of building surveys and able to produce good quality written technical reports and detailed drawings
