The Growth Company (GC) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Advisor – Enterprise Specialist to supply business support & start-up offers to support businesses within the North West.You will deliver high-quality specialist business support and advice to a portfolio of various stakeholders across the North West.   • Assess the needs of eligible clients, diagnosing any barriers to setting up, sustaining, or growing their business and agreeing on an action plan, ultimately enabling them to succeed.
  • Deliver bespoke growth support directly to enable them to fully meet their growth potential.
  • Ensure that the North West business support and start-up service delivers performance to a high quality.
  • Ensure that potential clients comply with the project eligibility criteria by ensuring that initial eligibility checks before formal assessment and action planning are carried out.
  • Handling client enquiries via, phone and email, initially assessing the growth potential and business needs and correctly recording them on GC’s CRM.
  • Develop and maintain a high-level network of business/professional contacts that generate personal referrals.

Skills Required:

  • Has technical knowledge in the key areas of business enterprise.
  • Sales and Account Management experience.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve positive results and outcomes.
  • Well-developed IT skills.
  • Significant sector/business experience in the private sector, including at a senior management or Director level.
