Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst“This role is currently on a Hybrid Schedule.
You will need to have reliable internet, computer and android or iphone for remote access into the client systems during remote work.
We will be expected in the office weekly 3 days depending on the team requirement.****Video/ f2f interviews are required prior to all offers.We are hiring a business analyst to join our project team. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager. Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing.Responsibilities:
1. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
3. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
4. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
5. Performing requirements analysis.
6. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
7. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
8. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
9. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
10. Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
11. Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
12. Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
