About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Manager of Analytics to join our dynamic Gartner Conferences analytics team in Gurgaon. We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong technical skills combined with exceptional data story telling ability, both oral and written. This individual will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of 2-4 people, driving analytics initiatives, and solving complex business problems.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage a team of analytics professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement analytics strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques and tools to uncover insights, identify trends, and solve complex business problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, define analytics requirements, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in written reports or presentations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science) is required. A master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering impactful insights and driving business outcomes. Consulting experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Excellent data storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in managing and developing teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to think analytically and strategically to tackle complex business challenges.
  • Self-driven and motivated, with a passion for leveraging data and analytics to drive business success.
