This is an individual contributor role.Responsibilities:Identifying and capitalising on opportunities to grow awareness of the TELUS Health suite of services within the broker communityDeveloping new broker channel relationships and influencing their decision-making processLeading lead generation opportunities to win new business with EMEA based organisations from brokers and consultantsDeveloping strategic relationships with key contacts in our target market segment, including international benefit and human resource consultants across the UKUnderstanding new products and services and their applicability to the broker marketDeveloping and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities to ensure sales quota target coverage, with a heavy focus on prospectingMaintain responsibility for full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through to negotiation and close of sale and hand off to the Customer Success Management teamUsing Salesforce CRM software to log and track opportunity journeyWorking closely with Customer Success Managers to identify upsell opportunities within existing client organisationsSucceeding as a Business Development Manager will require the following qualifications and skills:3+ years of directly related work experience in a 360 broker-driven sales environment, and a proven track record of success in complex B2B sales or solution salesKnowledge of Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employee health and wellness, insurance industry or group benefitsStrong outreach and cold calling skillsFull proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS TeamsKnowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM softwareA high level of motivation, strong presentation skills, an understanding of consultative selling, and the ability to manage the sales cycle effectively and autonomouslyStrong interpersonal skills, and solid written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational, time management, and collaborative skills that allow you to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel within the assigned region(s), up to 15%You will receive a permanent position with benefits package including:Sales incentives and commissionPensionPrivate Medical Insurance including Digital GPHealthcare Cash Plan – claim back dental bills or the cost of new glassesDental PlanLife InsuranceGroup Income Protection24 days annual leave and two extra wellbeing days per year, in addition to 8 bank holidaysAccess to hundreds of perks including cashback offers and discounted gift cards on your favourite brands, discounted cinema tickets and moreEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP) provided in a fully confidential manner to ensure you get the support you needTELUS Health is an equal opportunity employer.
