To support our growing sales efforts, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative. This key role will focus on identifying and engaging potential clients, generating new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth of our sales pipeline. Working closely with the sales team, the BDR will play a vital part in driving lead generation, qualifying prospects, and ensuring accurate pipeline management. The role also involves tracking outreach efforts and providing valuable insights to improve sales performance and efficiency:Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients through outbound calls, emails, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Generate and qualify leads, focusing on connecting with decision-makers in key industries.
- Maintain a high level of activity by reaching out to a targeted number of leads daily.
Lead Qualification
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their business needs and determine if they align with PGI’s solutions.
- Set up meetings or calls between qualified leads and the sales team.
- Use active listening and consultative selling techniques to gather information and assess potential fit.
Pipeline Management
- Ensure that all lead and prospect data is accurately recorded in the CRM.
- Work closely with the sales team to prioritise leads and support the handover process.
- Manage a personal pipeline of prospects, ensuring that progress is consistent and aligned with sales targets.
Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and execute outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team to share insights from lead interactions and market trends.
On day one you will bring:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or client-facing role, preferably in business development or sales.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new sales tools and techniques.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
