There’s more than 900 of us in the global Xplor F&W team and we’re passionate about enabling gym and studio owners, recreation centers, and personal trainers to deliver better business outcomes for themselves and their customers.Job DescriptionAs an Business Development Representative (BDR) at Xplor Recreation, you’ll be at the forefront of our outbound lead generation efforts, driving new business opportunities and expanding our market presence. Your primary focus will be identifying and connecting with potential clients who may not yet know about the value Xplor Recreation can bring to their communities. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll work closely with both the Marketing and Sales teams to prioritize outbound targeting, engage prospects, and convert them into qualified leads through strategic discovery conversations.This role is essential in building a strong pipeline of new opportunities and plays a critical part in our company’s growth. Success in this position requires someone who is driven, resourceful, and thrives in creating meaningful connections. You’ll excel by leveraging strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and a proactive approach to consistently engage prospects and deliver value. You’ll occasionally support inbound lead qualification efforts alongside the Sales Development Representative (SDR), ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities

• Drive Outbound Lead Generation: Proactively call and email into targeted lists, engaging potential prospects to introduce them to Xplor Recreation and assess their needs.

• Conduct Discovery to Qualify Leads: Use thoughtful discovery to assess fit and qualify leads for handoff to Sales.

• Collaborate on Outbound Targeting: Work closely with Marketing and Sales to prioritize outreach efforts, focusing on high-potential accounts and industries.

• Support Inbound Lead Qualification as Needed: When required, assist the SDR in managing and qualifying inbound demo and follow-up requests.

• Build New Pipeline: Serve as a key driver in developing a robust pipeline of new business opportunities, ensuring sustained growth for the organization.

• Track and Report on Progress: Maintain clear records of outreach and qualification efforts, and provide regular updates to management on key metrics and goals.

This position has a base salary range of $50,000 – $60,000 CAD.This position is eligible for a commission plan.Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a business development or outbound sales role.
• A relentless drive to learn, grow, and develop as a sales professional.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for outbound activities such as calls, emails, and discovery meetings.
• Familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
