The role

As a Business Support Team Leader, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be managing a small team of Business Support Officer’s and a meet and greet employee, whilst completing all administration for the contract.

Day-to-day, you’ll support your small team of Business Support Officers (BSO’s) however, this will be a small part of what you do. You’ll support the contract with administration duties with reporting stats, figures, raising Pos, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails and mail. You’ll also maintain office equipment and arrange for repairs when necessary. Provide assurance, tracking and audit of all inventories and equipment.

  • Support the Incident Response Manager with Contractual Performance meetings and data by preparing the monthly performance information
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments, maintain action spreadsheets for all meetings, coordinate with IT departments for Babcock and Urenco all office equipment
  • Conduct regular training sessions for BSO’s to ensure they are well-prepared to handle various security scenarios and to stay updated on the latest security technologies and procedures
  • Facilitate new employee onboarding and ensure that BSOs are fully trained and mentored prior to their assessment 
  • Support office budget requirement, raise purchase orders, manage receipts for credit cards and other regular monthly invoices and servicing of equipment

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and is based on site at Capenhurst.

Essential experience of the Business Support Team Leader:

  • Experience of office management, leading a small team while motivating and developing staff
  • Evidence of computer literacy and data base knowledge
  • Experience of extracting and displaying data
  • Self-motivated and capable of following projects through to completion
  • Communication, relationship and rapport building skills

Qualifications for the Business Support Team Leader:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
