Much of the work for this position can be done from a home office.Candidates must be enrolled as a student and registered in at least 12 credits. Preferred applicant should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.What is the pay and perks?The typical hiring pay for this position is $13.75/hour to $14.50/hour. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation.Students with GPA of 3.5 and above are eligible for a $500 bonus (Academic Excellence Reward) each semester completed while employed.This position will be eligible for company benefits including, employee discount program, employee assistance program, community donation program, unpaid time off, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, leaves, disability, and accommodations.This information is intended to be a general overview and may be modified by Daktronics due to factors affecting the business.What will the work look like for me?As a Business Trainee Student, you can expect to gain experience in the following areas:

Rotations look different for each student in terms of pathing through the different teams. Lengths in rotations can vary but we aim for 5-7 months in a team to gain the full experience.Check out our .QualificationsAcademic Requirements:

• The preferred candidate will be a student registered in at least 12 credits and currently enrolled in accredited bachelor’s degree program in Business, Consumer Affairs, Economics, Entrepreneurial Studies, or related programs.
• The preferred candidate will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
• Only strong academic performers will be considered. Must maintain an acceptable GPA, preference to 2.5 GPA or greater.
• Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application to be considered for this position.

Other Requirements:

• Applicants should be available to work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Good oral and written communication skills. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and strong need to work as a team player. Attention-to-details is a must.
• Enthusiasm for learning and working on new projects and flexibility to ever-changing priorities and responsibilities.
• General computer skills including accurate keyboarding skills and ability to learn and navigate new software and tools.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
