Buyer – Purchasing & Strategic Sourcer

A
fast-growing wholesale packaging company in Everett, WA is looking to add a Buyer to
their team!

This company specializes
in providing tailored packaging solutions and consumable supplies to clients,

Buyer Responsibilities:

• Leverage
  strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and pricing, aiming to
  reduce total cost of ownership.
• Build
  and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster innovation and
  ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct
  regular reviews and assessments of supplier performance and develop strategies
  to address any issues.
• Continuously
  analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for
  cost savings and process improvements.
• Develop
  and implement sourcing strategies that align with company goals and drive
  competitive advantage.

Schedule: Monday
– Friday, day shift

Buyer Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of
  buying and supplier management experience.
• Experience working
  within a packaging, logistics,
  distribution, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong experience with sourcing, negotiating, and supplier management.
• Experience
  in a high-volume production environment is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree
  in a related field or equivalent experience.

Compensation: $55,000 to $75,000 annually.
