Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East is now hiring Call Center Representatives in Eastgate, OH/Union Township, OH.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Promptly answers, screens, and processes medical service requests and telephone inquiries with strict adherence to confidentiality agreements and policies and procedures.
- Facilitate optimal patient access and maximize the accuracy of data entry for scheduling and clinical messaging.
- Meets outlined benchmarks and/or quality indicators as monitored through dashboards, audits, or other quality reporting tools.
- Fostering ownership and personal responsibility for exceeding patient service expectations.
- Responsible for professionally responding to all inquiries from callers as they relate to health services.
- Promotes a sense of pride in the call center and positive interpersonal relations among all team members.
- Supports organizational changes.
- Demonstrates flexibility in providing coverage and/or availability for the call center via scheduling adjustments for unexpected absences, events, or call volume variances.
- Participates in improving Call Center performance.
- Recommends areas or approaches for improvement activities and accuracy of both scheduling and clinical messaging functions
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/ Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Strong computer skills that include a combination of experience in a Windows Operating System, e-mail, and EHR data entry required
- 1-2 years Call Center experience preferred
Additionally, MUST have at least one of the following:
- Medical Background
- Call center experience coupled with medical terminology
- Experience working in a doctor”s office
- Medical records experience
- Ability to speak clearly in order to communicate effectively between patient and provider, provide pre-visit instructions/directions, and relay provider instructions.
