The role requires you to work with, organise and lead a team of Cleaning Assistants to provide an effective and efficient cleaning service across the University campus. The hours of work will vary between 12.30pm – 8.30pm and 2pm – 10pm This is a 5 day over 7 shift pattern and you will be required to work weekends. The opportunity is available on a secondment/fixed term contract until 7th July 2025. You will be looking after a small team of cleaning staff where you will be responsible for ensuring that the cleaning service level is delivered.We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.About YouWe are looking for a candidate who is experienced in managing a team and has knowledge of basic Health and Safety relevant to the role, ensuring that the needs of the business are kept as a priority. You should have good IT Skills and be confident with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. You should have a friendly and approachable manner and be confident when attending any meetings with other supervisors.
