🌟 We’re Hiring: Temporary Catering Assistant – Newcastle upon Tyne (Further Education and Training College) 🌟We are currently seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join the catering team at a further education and training college in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a temporary ongoing role with immediate start available.📍 Location: Newcastle upon Tyne🕒 Hours: Full-time (term-time hours)📅 Contract: Temporary ongoingPlease note: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential for this role.Your duties as a Catering Assistant will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals in a busy college canteen
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
• Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff

We’re looking for a Catering Assistant who:

• Has previous experience in a catering or food service role (preferred)
• Can work well as part of a team and follow instructions
• Is reliable, punctual, and professional
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) Food Hygiene Level 2 certification
• Has a current Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (mandatory)
