You are required to deliver a high standard of Catering Services within the Hospital to patients, staff and visitors whilst maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Applicants must have a working knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety & COSHH procedures. Previous experience in a Catering environment at a supervisory level is essential, as is a good knowledge of work procedures, practices & equipment through a combination of experience and professional qualifications Enhancements are paid for weekend working.You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.Informal enquiries to Fiona Kimmet, NHS Tayside Patient Catering Manager, Ninewells Hospital. Phone – 01382 632765Hours of work are: 37 hours per week 5 days from 7Shift times are between 7am and 7.30pmNHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
