Join a team of next generation thinkers.WHAT TO EXPECTThis is an opportunity to join a team who supports multiple x-functional areas with their expertise of Vehicle Configurations. You will work with teams from Electrical Engineering, Product Information, Programme, VCATS and Service to name a few. You will learn to take multiple data sources, interrogate that information then configure that data into a format that can be accurately consumed by our Production Teams (VCATS). This enables quality of the Software functionality within each and every vehicle built in every plant both in the UK and Overseas.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Maintain Car Configuration File (CCF) rulesets to support vehicle production in all plants.
• Plan CCF changes against overall ruleset release timing plan.
• Maintain metrics for CCF eTracker completion against vehicle build phases and change points. Maintain CCF parameter lists and specifications.
• Develop and implement improved Processes and Standards for CCF.
• Support CCF transformation and prevent recurrence projects.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with VCATS team and function owners.
• Conduct CCF Ruleset Validation according to JLR-PRD-9480.
• Support Product Information, Electrical Integration and Plant RFT teams with CCF related issue resolution

WHAT YOU’LL NEEDEssential:

• Must be capable of working under pressure.
• The ability to analyse a situation and identify the optimum containment action in the shortest possible time is critical to maintain production.
• Must be capable of analysing complex logic relationships.
• Basic programming skills and a demonstrate an aptitude to cross train to other languages.
• Capable of working without close supervision.
• Confident communicator. Most effective solutions will require give and take across the various teams involved.
• Some degree flexible hours working may be required due to the international nature of the business.
• Experience of dealing with remote teams in other countries
