ResponsibilitiesSt. Joseph Medical Center – Healient Clinic is looking for a full time day shift Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing and dynamic staff! The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) duties include, but are not limited to:

• responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks
• responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management
• provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services
• conveys a positive image of organization

QualificationsEducation and Work Experience

• Certified Medical Assistant credential, required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience, required
• minimum one year work experience in public contact job, preferred
• current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
