Glenwood Health and Rehab is hiring a CERTIFIED MEDICATION ASSISTANT (CMA) to work both short term rehabilitation and long-term care.Position Summary: Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the CMA administers prescribed drugs and completes other delegated nursing tasks allowed by state law. CMA delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. He/she will function within the standards of practice as accorded by his/her certification. The CMA performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services essential to caring for personal needs and comfort for patients.Requirements: * The Certified Medication Assistant must have successfully completed a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program as well as a state approved 60-hour certified medication program.
