• Preparation and cooking of food items in accordance with the menu and presentation standards of The Boat Inn.
• Ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Effectively managing kitchen operations, including stock management, preparation of ingredients, and ensuring timely service.
• Training and supervising junior kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
• Assisting the Head Chef in menu development and maintaining the highest quality of food production.
• Collaborating with other kitchen staff to deliver a seamless dining experience for guests.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work area and kitchen equipment.
• Contributing to the overall team spirit and morale in the kitchen.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of different cooking techniques.
• In-depth understanding of food safety practices and hygiene regulations in a kitchen environment.
• Experience in restaurant operations and the ability to work under pressure during busy service times.
• Ability to work as part of a team and effectively communicate with colleagues.

Desired Experience:Minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen setting.Salary & Benefits:Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 annuallyThe successful candidate will benefit from working in a vibrant kitchen with opportunities for career growth and development.
