Job RequirementsOur future 5-star hotel, Le Sax, is assembling its opening team and is looking for Chef de Parties.Responsibilities:Culinary:

  • Ensure the preparation and cooking of dishes according to the hotel’s recipes and standards.
  • Be responsible for organizing ingredients and equipment needed for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that dishes are presented neatly and aesthetically before sending them to the dining room.
  • Propose new recipes and culinary techniques to diversify the gastronomic offering.

Hygiene:

  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Control the quality of the products used and the dishes prepared.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Collaborate with other departments (HR, commercial, management) to ensure smooth circulation of financial information.
  • Work closely with the dining room team to ensure optimal coordination of services.
  • Contribute to the hotel’s overall financial strategy by providing operational expertise.

Work ExperienceRequired Skills:Education:

  • BTS in Hospitality and Catering, specializing in Culinary Arts, Table Art, and Service.
  • Professional Baccalaureate in Catering or a technological Baccalaureate in Hospitality.
  • CAP in Culinary Arts.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of prior experience in a similar position, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of the specificities related to the hotel environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts.
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in French.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Diplomacy and responsiveness in problem-solving.
