• Human Resources and Hiring / Recruiting experience
• Organizational Development and Leadership background
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Must pass background examinations (included with training)

Role: Human Resources DirectorSummary: Oversees the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School through outstanding human resources and hiring practices. May fulfill a role in daily operations of the schools when appropriate.Duties and Responsibilities: * Hires and trains staff of GSS to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and positive employee satisfaction.

• Develops understanding of the right candidates to ensure that our aquatics department can provide superior swim instruction to the students of GSS.
• Initiates and oversees workplace employee activities (“Fun” Department) with the goal of achieving improved employee satisfaction.
• Develops best-in-class employee benefits packages for various employee and manager levels.
• Provides guidance and counseling to employees over their employment cycle.
• Assists in the scheduling of staff.
• Manages payroll and labor budgeting.
• Maintains current certifications and stays up-to-date professionally on the aquatics and management field.
• Assists in daily operations to ensure the school is running per GSS standard operating procedures.
• Fulfills other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Employer.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational development, communications or equivalent is desired. Experience as youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor or aquatics instructor/supervisor is preferred.If you, or if you know of someone who desires to work for a place where you can make a difference.Goldfish Swim School New Rochelle is a learn-to-swim facility for kids ages 4 months to 12 years.
