Are you a qualified Tanker Driver looking for a new permanent opportunity?Our client in Linwood, Renfrewshire is seeking five Class 1 Drivers on a temporary to permanent basis.Vac Tanks experience is essential as is valid Cat C+E licence with digital tacho card and full CPC, plus:

• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• An understanding of driver hours and regulations

SUMMARY OF POSITION:Your primary role as the HGV Driver is use of the 30,000ltr Vacuum Tanker for the carriage of bio-fertiliser (otherwise known as digestate which is non ADR hazardous) from various sites and deliver to farmers lagoons/fields and nurse tanks.Responsibilities: (Not exhaustive)

• Meet all of the requirements of the Office of the Traffic Commissioner
• Meeting all H&S requirements by following all company policy and procedure
• Meet and abide by all logistics policies, procedures, risk assessments, working instructions etc….
• Collection from our Bio Capital AD site and deliver bio-fertiliser to farms/lagoons and field sites
• Maintain a clean, fit for purpose driving license
• Ensuring work within parameters of drivers hours and working time directive with no infringements
• Carry out basic routine maintenance, such as oil, tyre and brake checks.
• Completing vehicle defect checks daily
• Daily cleaning and filling of vehicles as required
• Completing accurate logbooks and paperwork
• Efficient and high standards of customer service

Pay and Hours

• Initial Pay / PAYE rate from £15 to £16 per hour basic overtime after 40 hours
• Salary of over £40,000 plus company benefits after 13 weeks (once permanent)
• Working for Driver Hire Paisley for the first 13 weeks means you will be accrue holiday pay pension benefits all PAYE and National Insurance is paid directly to HMRC
