Job description
Driver Hire Winchester is looking for Class 1 shunting drivers to work in the Southampton docks on an ad-hoc basis. Successful candidates will be required to pass a driving assessment and induction.Role Overview:
- Days: Monday to Saturday
- Contract: Ad-hoc (0-hour contract)
- Shifts: Day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 12 hours
- Location: Southampton docks, container movement
- Training: Provided
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 licence
- CPC and Digi Tacho card
- DP World Card (essential)
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience, with at least 3 months in container work preferred
- Reliable transport to commute
- Strong communication and timekeeping skills
