Job description

Driver Hire Winchester is looking for Class 1 shunting drivers to work in the Southampton docks on an ad-hoc basis. Successful candidates will be required to pass a driving assessment and induction.Role Overview:

• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Contract: Ad-hoc (0-hour contract)
• Shifts: Day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), 12 hours
• Location: Southampton docks, container movement
• Training: Provided

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 licence
• CPC and Digi Tacho card
• DP World Card (essential)
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience, with at least 3 months in container work preferred
• Reliable transport to commute
• Strong communication and timekeeping skills
