Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for Class 2 (CAT C) Refuse Driver to work for our well-established client based in Stockport. This is an ongoing temporary contact however this could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. The client will offer 4/5 days a week within Monday to Friday 6:45am starts. Bank holiday work is also available at an enhanced rate.The role involves the collection of bins (garden and waste) around the Stockport area.Please be advised that you will be required to help and assist the loaders due to the busy environment.Duties of this HGV Class 2 Driver will include:

• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
• Maintaining regular contact with Managers on daily progress
• Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
• Work well in a team
• Ability to drive around tight roads in Stockport

Our HGV Class 2 Driver must have:

• Cat C Licence (Category C – HGV Class 2 Driver)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No DD’s, DR’s, IN’s, TT’s
• Refuse experience preffered but not essential

This role may lead to a full-time position for the right candidate.
