Job description

We are seeking a qualified and dependable Class 1 ADR Driver to join our client, a leading waste management company, based in LS12. The role involves the safe transport of waste materials into and from the company’s depot, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport waste materials to and from the depot in compliance with ADR and waste management regulations
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure the proper loading and unloading of waste
• Maintain accurate records of waste deliveries and collections
• Comply with all health and safety regulations, road traffic laws, and company policies
• Ensure professional conduct and excellent customer service when representing the company

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• ADR certification (in tanks and packages)
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Experience in transporting waste or hazardous materials is an advantage
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Knowledge of waste management regulations is beneficial
• Strong commitment to safety and legal compliance

What We Offer:

• Competitive salary of £34,000 per annum
• Stable working hours, Monday to Friday (07:00 – 16:30), with 1 Saturday per month
