We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming the right candidate to our team.More about your roleWorking independently, you will provide an efficient cleaning service throughout designated internal communal areas ensuring Health and Safety and group policy and procedures are adhered to. We may ask you to support the external areas team when required. You will have a key role in overseeing the Health and Safety of those around you including testing of fire alarms and emergency lighting. You will be responsible for cleaning flats before new tenants move in and after previous tenants have moved out. Our primary aim is to ensure our communities and working environments are maintained to the highest standard therefore when it occurs, we will ask you to remove graffiti and report problems.We do our best to develop our employees and therefore we may need you to undertake training when requested.This is a part time role. You will be required to work 20 hours per week with flexibility.For more information, please download our job profile available on our website.More about youTo be considered for this role you should have a strong cleaning background with a good working knowledge of estate management issues. As you will work independently we need you to have strong organisation skills and the ability to plan your workload. To keep you and the rest of our employees, customers and other visitors safe we need you to have knowledge of COSHH regulations relating to the safe use of chemicals in the public domain.At Places for People, we prioritise our dedication to safer recruitment.
