Here, your voice is heard, and youâll have the support and opportunities to thrive.See your commuteJoin us as a Client Offboarding Analyst at Barclays, as an Assistant Vice President you will run the monthly off-boarding process, get involved in continuous improvement and offboarding team project streams, and be the main drive for change. You will also play a pivotal part in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure the correct level of service is provided to the right clients by the Know Your Customer team. As the process is semi-automated and requires a lot of manual work, you will have the opportunity to leverage your attention to detail and analytical skills.Key sills required for this role include:SQL knowledge.Advanced Excel skills.Experience of working with large datasets.Stakeholder management skills.Additional preferred skills include:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Proven strong risk and control lens.Strong communication skills to be able to liaise with different business areas and stakeholders.You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role will be based in Glasgow.Purpose of the roleTo support Wholesale Onboarding with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and issue resolution.ÂAccountabilities
- Support with day-to-day Wholesale Onboarding initiatives including KYC processing, reviewing (which can include Quality Checking), reporting, trading and issue resolution.
- Collaboration and engagement with clients/front office to gather Customer Due Diligence information/evidence in order to onboard or refresh a clients KYC in line with documented policy.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Onboarding processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Onboarding processes.
- Development and implementation of Wholesale Onboarding procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Onboarding performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Onboarding.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Onboarding efficiency and effectiveness.

- Identify ways to mitigate risk and developing new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.

- Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
- Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Communicate complex information. ‘Complex’ information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
