The team is responsible for co-ordinating the take-on/mandate change related tasks and activities across the business to ensure that client mandates are implemented comprehensively and in accordance with the client/ consultant’s funding objective(s).What you’ll be doing:
- Co-ordinating the end-to-end implementation of new client mandates across the business e.g. obtaining business approval of fund operating documentation; account set-up; identifying and seeking solutions to non-standards requirements etc
- Preparing the legal and operational groundwork for implementing changes to existing client mandates
- Owning project and time manage client work in conjunction with other business areas to achieve the client’s funding objectives in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring that all legal, operational and transitional tasks are comprehensively considered and completed
- Developing a clear understanding of the function of all business areas within LGIM, building and maintaining an effective network of strong working relationships within those areas. Partner with such areas to identify and improve business processes
- Acting as an internal ‘implementation consultant’ to the client relationship management team, demonstrating technical ability and understanding and an awareness of the client’s decision-making process and investment objectives.
- Attending or facilitate (as appropriate) client conference calls and meetings, acting as a business advisor on the requirements for implementing new client mandates and client change, providing progress updates to clients in the spirit of transparency and collaboration
- Communicating effectively internally and externally on the progress of client work, holding (where required) regular working group meeting sessions with key stakeholders in order to monitor and manage progress relevant to client change activity. As necessary, attend client meetings and conference calls to discuss and report upon implementation plans and progress
- Maintaining and, where applicable, design and implement, business processes and procedures to support a risk-controlled and compliant environment
QualificationsWho we’re looking for:
- Basic understanding of investments
- Previous experience working with onboarding, ideally within segregated clients.
- Knowledge of current investment, market, regulatory and economic matters
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate, influence and operate at a senior management level
- Project Management/Co-ordination experience/responsibilities
- Knowledge of KVG market
