Job description

Working closely with the team and head of department this role is focused on the successful delivery of our education pension service.Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of education pension systems and procedures.
  • Develop an understanding of the rules for Local Govt. and Teachers’ Pension Schemes
  • Processing of pension forms and returns for starters, leavers, changes etc.
  • Assisting with the preparation and submission of monthly pension returns
  • Liaising with payroll teams, schools and pension schemes to resolve pension queries
  • Work towards demonstrating a rounded knowledge of education pension fundamentals
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
