Client Representative (Entry Level)

TEKsystems is currently hiring for an international transportation company in the Richmond, VA area. This will be a long term career opportunity to grow with a reputable company and learn supply chain/logistics.

Shift: 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm (candidate preference)

Hybrid: 2-3 days per week in office

Pay: $19/hr

Start date: within 2-3 weeks

Job Description:

• Responsible for answering incoming calls and email correspondence for the Car Carrier Import Customer Service department.

• Ability to comprehend U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations and ensure company is compliant with the regulations.

• Review and send US Customs and Border Protection hold notifications.

• Communicate with port agents, terminals, U.S. Customs Officers and customers to coordinate release of cargo.

• Correspond with global offices to verify shipment information.

• Process changes to the manifest (CTM) and issue Arrival Notices as needed.

• Actively seek measures to improve our services, and make recommendations to the management team.

• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Customer Service experience or administrative experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in any field

• Must be willing to train in office and work a hybrid schedule
