Build and advance your career by joining a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to excellence in support of senators and the institution.How will you contribute?We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated professional to support our Client Service Centre (CSC) servicing all Senators, Senate employees and Canadians!As a member of the Client service center, you will be responsible for processing and analyzing requests pertaining to operational services. You will help identify potential challenges and issues, tracks important information, consults subject matter experts when needed and dispatches internal and external service providers for service requests.Using your proven client service skills, you will be responsible for responding to general enquiries from the public related to the Senate. - Successful completion of a secondary school education or an acceptable combination of related education and experience;
- Experience providing customer services to a diversified clientele in person, over the phone and virtually;
- Experience in data entry into an electronic database;
- Excellent computer skills and experience using MS Office products;
- Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with senators, Senate employees and others;
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to clearly identify issues, assess information and explain complex topics in plain language in both official languages;
- Experience working in a call centre or customer service environment is considered an asset;
- Experience preparing reports and statistics is considered an asset;
- Knowledge of or experience working with parliamentary institutions is considered an asset.
