We are proud to play a key role in accelerating Canada’s energy sustainability and achieving its net-zero goals and we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset when it comes to achieving that goal.About the role:As a CNC Operator you will operate CNC equipment, while maintaining proper tooling condition and original set ups, machine precision components/parts that meet the engineered drawings in the time allotted by the Manufacturing Process Instruction, while following Risk Assessment requirements as they apply to each operation or machine.You will report to the Shop Supervisor and be located at our facility in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.Main Responsibilities:Follow all Risk Assessment requirements for the equipment being used.Deliver acceptable parts in the time allowed.Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to maintain cutting tool accuracyContribute to Tool Box talks and other communications.Qualifications:Demonstrate knowledge of safe handling of materials, basic machining practices, and theability to recognize unsafe situations.Read and understand fundamental drawings.Identify different materials.Communicate with others (peers, Supervisors and your team).#LI-OnsiteWhy Westinghouse?Westinghouse is a firm believer in fostering a workplace that is powered by inclusive leaders, teams and culture.
