Robert Half is partnering with a well renowned organization looking to hire a Collections Specialist to join their growing team. This is a full-time/permanent role in the Ottawa-South region.Advantages:-Competitive salary (55-65K)-Full benefits + 3 weeks vacation-Free parking-Opportunity for advancement-Excellent culture & teamResponsibilities:-Administer customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.-Utilize accounting software systems and CRM for processing customer credit applications-Handle customer inquiries, providing relevant information and support-Monitor customer accounts and implement appropriate actions for delinquent accounts-Communicate with customers via telephone or email for resolving overdue payments-Implement collection processes, including B2B collections and commercial collections-Engage in answering inbound calls and handling billing functions-Record and update information regarding the financial status of customers and the status of collection efforts-Handle other collections related functionsQualifications:-Must be willing to work fully on site-Post secondary education in Finance, Accounting or related field-2+ years experience as a Collections Specialist or similar role-Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a strong asset-Proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software-Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) management-Experience in answering inbound calls professionally and courteously-Ability to handle all billing functions efficiently-Proficiency in collection processes-Strong communication both written and oralRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
