You will work closely with the commercial and category teams to help drive efficiencies, support sales initiatives and optimise profitability.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the commercial team.
  • Support in presenting data in clear, easy to understand formats for senior leaders.
  • Assist in drawing commercial insights from datasets to support strategic. recommendations to category teams with the aim of maximising profitability.
  • Assist in ensuring the strategic direction is accurately reflected in the category forecasts and budgeting and support the development of the long-term financial plans.
  • Support the data analysis underpinning trading decisions by providing. performance insight, scenario planning, promo planning and financial forecasts.
  • Support the commercial team in responding to ad-hoc requests from senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders in a timely manner.

About you.

  • Highly numerate and analytical.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Solutions and delivery focused.
  • Experience in handling a variety of data sources.
  • Champions what is right for the business, team and customer.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Problem solving/critical thinking.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
  • Highly motivated and willing to self-learn.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI would be advantageous, but not essential.
