Job Type: Permanent positionOur client, an insurance brokerage is looking for a Commercial Insurance Specialist to work closely with Commercial Producers to manage client portfolios, negotiate new business, renewals, and remarkets, and provide exceptional client service. This role involves collaborating with practice group members, maintaining relationships with underwriters, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.Key Functions and Responsibilities:– Collaborate with Practice Leader and group members; share insurer/product information.
– Negotiate and place new business, renewals, and remarkets.
– Present risk assessments to underwriters; issue binding instructions.
– Evaluate marketing submissions; provide detailed comparisons for producers.
– Manage renewals, client inquiries, endorsements, and documentation.
– Issue certificates of insurance and support producers with client interactions.Qualifications:– 3+ years of commercial lines experience.
– RIBO license required.
– Experience with insurance software.
