We are at the heart of the MSM business and every day is a different day.WHY OUR ROLE?Joining a highly skilled & valued team, our Commercial Manager position is a varied role, where you will be working on key initiatives, building both internal and external relationships with our cross-functional team and Insurance providers, and helping to deliver our Insurance strategy!Giving you the chance to lead on relationships with multiple insurers, as well as getting involved in trading individual channels, project management, product development, developing your commercial competence, and analytical skills. You will help deliver the long-term channel strategy, balanced against a focus on activities which help us grow performance in-year!This role will give you the opportunity to deliver on the Protection, Pet and Health Insurance strategy – gaining exposure to all levels of our business and external partnerships!WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?Support the day-to-day performance and trading of the Protection, Pet and Health insurance channel, working with internal and external partners to deliver budget.Sell promotional tenancy placements to insurance partners. Review performance to ensure deals work for users, partners, Moneysupermarket and QuidcoSupport with commercial and contract negotiations with our insurance partners.Understand market insights to highlight potential growth or new opportunities.Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Operations and Product teams to optimise the customer experience alongside our external partners.Use data insights to understand current performance and identify future channel and market trends.Build close working relationships with internal business partners in Finance to continually monitor the financial performance of the channel.Work closely with our Marketing colleagues to identify growth opportunities for the channels and to run day to day performance.Work closely with Risk, Compliance, and Procurement to ensure third party relationships are led in line with MSMG processesABOUT YOUExcellent external relationship management and negotiation skills.A high level of analytical ability, able to translate data into actionable insight to generate growth and new opportunities.Highly motivated to deliver channel plans and results.Able to work autonomously, setting your own agenda and priorities on a day-to-day basis, while also working with the wider Insurance team.To be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities to tight deadlines.Commercially astute with an ability to understand key trading levers and performance drivers.An understanding of Product development.Confident communicator and able to make complex issues understandable.Excel skills, including formulas, look ups, and pivot tables.WHAT REWARDS ARE ON OFFERUp to 30 holidays + bank holidaysPension up to 6% employer contributionBonus schemeEnhanced shared parental leave – 6 months paid for both parentsDigital Doctor on demandWork from anywhere scheme – 2 weeks per yearFinancial coachingMental health platform accessHOW WE’LL INVEST IN YOUWe’re invested in your development.
