In this 12-month role you will be the Communication lead across multiple expansion projects.You will:

  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support new store openings and other expansion projects.
  • Be the communication expert within the area of expansion, working closely with internal teams to gain an in-depth understanding of this business area to drive the effective delivery of communication initiatives.
  • Lead all internal and external (PR and PA) communication projects within this area, bringing in necessary expertise and resources from the wider communication team, as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

  • Advanced training in Communication, Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years experience in leading internal communications and PR projects.
  • Working knowledge of Public Affairs and stakeholder relations.
  • Skilled in both strategic and tactical communication.
  • Effective leadership in times of change.
  • Experience working with planning, development or property Communications preferable.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING DAY TO DAY:

  • Be the go-to communication expert for your business area (Expansion), understanding the business goals to align communication with desired outcomes.
  • Create communication plans that link activities to business outcomes.
  • Deliver internal and external communication projects with a stakeholder-focused approach.
  • Follow up and measure the outcomes of the communication initiatives, and their contribution to achieving desired business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wider Communication function strategic and tactical planning, and resource prioritisation.
  • Participate in country on-duty phone

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:This position is full time, you will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday over a fixed term contract duration of 12 Months.
