Communications Manager – Media/PR (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Protect and enhance Philips Personal Health reputation as a leader in health technology and strengthen the brand preference and reputation in the UKI, managing external and internal communications in collaboration with Western Europe team.

Your role:

  • In collaboration with the Regional European team you will:

  • Manage local comms integrated calendar; PR activities; media outlets (e.g., business national dailies, weeklies, broadcast, radio) and healthcare/tech trade media; crisis management and internal communications.

  • Leverage resources and drive impact through your agency relationships (Omnicom / Fleishman) agency relationship and leveraging its resources to drive impact

  • Fine-tune comms strategy for local UKI and deploy European thought leadership programs across media, Government, Academia and other audiences to grow Philips’ mindshare in health technology

  • This role works in collaboration with UKI Marketing Operations Managers and UKI Marketing Leader to ensure alignment and consistency in brand content and messaging across the zone.

You’re right for this role if:

  • If you have worked in a Communications role and understand how Media and PR/Influencing integrate, although one can more of a strength than the other.

  • You can provide evidence of working on brand campaign execution across traditional and digital/paid media channels.

  • You are an effective communicator who has worked with agencies managed external communications.

  • You focus on operational and execution excellence and thrive even with ambiguity.
