Ogilvy Health is seeking a Consultant to join our Learning for Health team. If you’re someone dedicated to crafting cutting-edge education programs that empower healthcare professionals and improve patient lives, then apply today!

The successful candidate will:

  • Work with the scientific services team, client services team (and department heads as relevant) to identify key educational outcomes (project level)
  • Design and deliver basic needs assessment to identify gaps in learning or unmet educational needs within a specific target audience (project level)
  • Work with the scientific services team to create engaging learning activities and compelling content that meets educational outcomes & learning objectives and enhances retention and learning transfer
  • Apply appropriate learning theories and evidence-informed instructional design, practices and models to clients’ work
  • Apply appropriate knowledge about omnichannel (educational) content planning, within the healthcare ecosystem
  • Apply appropriate outcomes measurement frameworks at planning and design phase of programmes and analyse data/ outcomes, to create work with impact
  • Provide consultancy / advice on learning technologies
  • Take part in new business proposals and pitches

What You’ll Do

  • Contribute to the design of events and workshops to ensure key educational outcomes are met and the learning process is enhanced
  • Work with the scientific services team and creative department to create learning strategy, programmes, materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games)
  • Support the scientific services team to assess learning transfer and impact of educational activities
  • Actively facilitate team-working and delivery across the account by considering the role and needs of other team members
  • Be able to train colleagues on best practice principles of medical education and advocate for best practices within Ogilvy and to clients as required
  • Provide learning consultancy for new business pitches and proposals; brings ideas that are innovative but also realistic given the client budget and appetite for innovation
  • Create content for pitches/proposals with a learning focus
  • Be confident and capable to represent the LFH team at a pitch and present
  • Participate in new business brainstorming meetings

What You’ll Need

  • Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry on agency or client side, with a strong background in adult learning, medical education or CME/IME
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and work independently
  • Clear, accurate and appropriate communication with all colleagues
  • To be recognised as conscientious, reliable and dependable, without the need for chasing/reminders; is calm under pressure
  • To demonstrate a cooperative, inclusive and team-based approach to working
  • To proactively manage and discuss own workload with line manager and account team
  • To work independently to develop core sections of pitches and proposals
  • A continuous learning mindset, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest evidence in medical education, trends and best practices and embrace new technologies.
